3 easy steps to install and start using AmBuTRACK3D and more:

Please follow the steps below to start tracking people or asset in 3D and real-time.


INSTALL AND LAUNCH AmBuTRACK3D, AmBuWHERE-rt or AmBuSAFE* ON YOUR GPS-enabled ANDROID DEVICE:

  • Visit the android Market from your device to purchase AmBuWHERE-rt, AmBuTRACK3D or AmBuSAFE or push any of these apps on your device using the Android Market web's portal.
    (*) For AmBuSAFE, please note that the purchase of a subscription is required: click here for additional information.



  • Once downloaded to your device, launch any of the following icon

  • Make sure that the Enable real-time tracking is selected in the application's main window:



VISUALIZE IN 3D & REAL-TIME FROM THE WEB, GOOGLE EARTH OR YOUR DEVICE:


  • TRACK PHONES USING AMBUTRACK3D.COM WEB PORTAL (EASIEST):


    • Visit www.ambutrack3d.com and enter up to 5 1-digit phone numbers and SUBMIT:



    • Once the page is refresh, your can navigate the map or replay the history of a trajectory directly from the web page!

  • TRACK PHONES USING GOOGLE EARTH's STANDALONE DESKTOP APPLICATION (RECOMMENDED):

    • First, make sure Google Earth is installed on your PC or MAP: visit www.googleearth.com to download and install the application.


    • Second, go to ambutrack3d.com and follow the steps described in the above section.
      Then, click on the earth icon at the bottom of the map which will trigger the download of a file:



    • Once the "KML" file is downloaded, simply click on it and Google Earth will launch and start tracking the phones your've selected:



      Within Google Earth, more options are offered to you such as the saving of the of the trajctory file, the ability to create a tour, etc.
      Refer to the Google Earth help to explore possibilities.


  • SEE YOUR CURRENT PHONE's TRAJECTORY DIRECTLY FROM YOUR DEVICE (AmBuWHERE-rt ONLY):

    • Click on the earth icon from the application main's window and the following menu will appear:




      • Selecting "Maps" will show a snapshot of the latest 2D trace for your phone.

      Selecting "Earth" will load Google Earth Mobile show your position in 3D and real-time.
